About Mrs. BuglarHi! My name is Tiffany Buglar and this will be my fourteenth year teaching at Paynter Elementary School. I taught fourth grade for twelve of those years and transitioned to first grade last year. I have to say, it was one of the most refreshing and rewarding years of my career! I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, which allowed me to create my own major where I focused on all things elementary, including a special certification in Children's Literature. I went on to receive my elementary teaching certificate and began teaching right away. I have been a preschool teacher, third grade teacher, fourth grade teacher, and a reading tutor. All of these jobs led me to where I am today; proudly teaching first grade at Paynter Elementary (where, I must note, I attended myself in the mid-1980's)!
Aside from being passionate about my students and teaching, I am the mother of two adorable girls, Lexi (9) and Bailey (5)! My husband, Eric, is my greatest supporter. I LOVE popcorn, all things Disney (where we were lucky enough to visit this summer) and reading is my favorite thing to do when I have free time (which is rare with two young girls)! I am really looking forward to getting to know all of my students this year and watching them grow! |
